Designer & Educator

Jacob Tesmer is the founder of Tesmer Design based in Columbus, Ohio. He brings a strong background in intellectual property development, product design, and education to every project.

Jacob works for firms, companies, and individuals to realize their next big idea. This involves collaborating with patent lawyers, inventors, and engineers using 2D and 3D media tools to illustrate valuable solutions. Please see Services for more information.

Jacob also contributes to the undergraduate design studies at the International Center for Creativity in partnership with Cedarville University. He leads classes and demonstrations in sketching, CAD design, and digital rendering for industrial design students. His classes focus on transportation design and product design as well as teaching fundamental design principles.

Details, details, details. Even the simplest designs can involve complex features.
A couple of bird feeder concept iterations. After printing the small model last week some changes could benefit the design. Drain holes, a perch, and a center post are a few ideas in the works!

Had a great time this morning brainstorming with some high school students attending @cedarville and @creativityic summer art and design camp. We were able to come up with some fun ideas for portable controllers. Some of the ideas shared were too fun
